Spicy Tofu

Spicy Tofu


Makes 4 servings.


3 tablespoons hot bean paste

1 tablespoon dry sherry

1 teaspoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons peanut oil

1 teaspoon salt

2 onions, peeled, halved and thinly sliced

1 pound tofu, cut in ½ inch cubes


Mix first 3 ingredients; set aside.

Heat oil in uncovered wok at 350°F.

Add salt and onions; stir-fry 2 minutes.

Add tofu; gently stir-fry 1 minute.

Add bean paste mixture; stir-fry to coat. Serve immediately.
