No, it is designed for heating water only.
My hot pot makes a clicking noise, is this normal?
Yes. The thermostat cycles on and off to maintain the temperature.
How long does it take to heat the water?
The hot pot will take approximately 15 minutes to reach a temperature of about 185 to 205°F. The hot pot will not reach a boil.
