After using my wok for some time, food is beginning to stick. How can I fix this?
First, try cleaning the non-stick interior finish with a nylon-type scouring pad recommended for use on non-stick finishes and a small amount of hot soapy water. Since the non-stick finish is slightly porous, food particles can settle into the finish and cause sticking problems. Cleaning with a nylon scouring pad and hot soapy water after each use will prevent this buildup from forming.
If the above suggestion does not completely solve the sticking problem, clean the finish with Dip-It coffee pot destainer, available at most grocery or department stores. Follow the package directions for cleaning non-stick finishes. After cleaning, recondition the non-stick coating with cooking oil to help restore the non-stick properties.
