Using Aluminum Foil

Can I use aluminum foil in the steamer?

Yes. Aluminum foil can be used to cover the rice bowl when:

Poaching fish

Cooking frozen vegetables in sauce

Cooking frozen spinach

Cooking frozen winter squash

Cooking Rice pudding

Heating leftovers

Covering rice bowl with foil will keep out additional moisture when cooking these foods.
