How do I clean my slow cooker?

Base

• Clean the non-stick finish with a damp soapy dish cloth or a nylon scouring pad if needed. Wipe with a clean cloth and dry. Do not immerse heating base in water or other liquid.

• Wash pot in hot soapy water with a cloth of nylon scouring pad if needed. Rinse and dry.
• Wash cover in hot soapy water with a cloth, rinse and dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads on glass cover as scratching can occur which weakens the glass.
• Both the pot and cover can be cleaned in an automatic dishwasher. Wipe non-stick interior surface of pot with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil after dishwasher cleaning to help restore the non-stick properties.
