Cleaning
How do I clean the fondue pot?
Allow the fondue pot to cool completely before cleaning. Remove the heat control after the fondue pot has cooled.
Non-Stick Surface
The fondue pot, with the heat control removed, may be immersed in water for cleaning. Clean the non-stick surface using a non-metal cleaning pad. A dishcloth or sponge may give the non-stick surface a clean look, but will not remove the tiny food particles that can settle into the finish. DO NOT USE METAL SCOURING PADS OR HARSH SCOURING CLEANSERS ON THE NON-STICK SURFACE.
Exterior
Clean the exterior by washing it in hot soapy water with a dishcloth, sponge or non-metal cleaning pads. If staining occurs clean with non-abrasive cleanser.
Underside of fondue pot
Clean the non-coated aluminum underside of the fondue pot with any scouring pad, use a scouring cleanser if needed.
Forks and fork ring (if included)
Wash in hot soapy water, rinse and dry.
After cleaning check fondue pot for loose handles. Retighten loose screws with appropriate screwdriver but do not overtighten.
