Do I need to use a filter in my urn?

Paper filters are not necessary in the large capacity coffeemakers as the bottom of all baskets are designed with a built-in filter. If you prefer to use a paper filter, you can, just be sure it fits into the bottom of the basket. Measure bottom diameter of basket to ensure proper fit.
