Oily Film
After the coffee is brewed there is an oil film on top of the coffee. What is this from?
The oil film found on top of the coffee can be caused by overextraction of the grounds. We recommend using slightly more coffee grounds.
The oils can also be caused as the coffee stands after it is brewed. We recommend only making the amount of coffee that will be consumed in a 2-hour period.
The oils could also be caused by the water you are using. We recommend that you try using distilled water.
