Overflow occurs when liquids are filled up to or over the “Max” fill line. To avoid overflow, fill to just below the “Max” fill line; this will leave enough room for the ingredients to froth.
Milk with lower fat content such as skim milk, is best for creating the most froth.
Soy milk, because of its low fat content, provides lots of froth and is an excellent alternative for people who cannot consume dairy.
The liquid and cocoa can cause the paddle to bind, leading to the paddle not turning. We recommend filling the container with warm, soapy water, being careful not to immerse the base, and scrub around the stir paddle with a washcloth or a small brush. This will allow the stir paddle to unbind and spin again.
Cocoa Grande will reach approximately 150-165°F.
