Toasted Cuban Melt

  • 2 - 6” crusty French bread rolls
  • ¼ lb. shaved pit ham
  • ¼ lb. roasted pork loin, shaved
  • 8 thin dill pickle slices
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/8 tsp. hot sauce
  1. Preheat West Bend® Platinum Edition™ Countertop Oven to 350°F. Combine the mayonnaise, mustard, and hot sauce and set aside. Split the bread open and spread with the mustard mixture. On each side of the bread, place a slice of cheese, 2 slices of pickle, and on one half of each sandwich, place 2 oz. of ham, and on the other half the roasted pork.
  2. Place the open faced sandwiches in an oven safe 8”x8” pan and bake for 6-8 minutes. Close the hot sandwiches and serve immediately.
