Easy Pork Casserole

This recipe was the first place winner for the 2012 Wisconsin Pork Association's Mouthwatering Pork competition at the Wisconsin State fair. Recipe submitted by Barb Stzahler - Reedsburg, WI.

  • 3 lbs Pork loin roast, cubed
  • ½ cup cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  1. Brown the cubed pork on the stovetop. When the meat is browned, transfer to the crockery cooker.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, soy sauce, grated ginger, garlic, and cornstarch. Pour over the meat. Cook on low for 2 hours. This dish is best served over hot noodles or rice.
    Serves 4.
