Steamed Franks

An all American favorite.

  • 1 pound frankfurters
  1. Place 6 frankfurters crosswise in bottom of pot. Lay remaining frankfurters on top lengthwise or in opposite direction. Do not add water.
  2. Cover and place pot on base. Steam at Setting #3 1/2 for 30 minutes. Frankfurters will be hot and brown where they touch the pot. Keep warm for serving at Setting #2.
    Makes 10 servings.
